GreenPods is a fully integrated regenerative agriculture farm developer, specializing in tree nuts, servicing the growing demand for plant-based products.

We follow the principles of regenerative agriculture and provide full traceability back to the farm.

Our vision

  • Mitigate climate change by establishing organic regenerative orchards which act as carbon sinks
  • Transform conventional agricultural operations into regenerative orchards to restore our land

Our mission

  • Implement regenerative practices at the farm to improve soil health, restore water cycles, increase biodiversity
  • Meet the growing demand in Europe for plant-based protein

Our model

  • Use cutting-edge tech to aim for operational and environmental excellence
  • Control our production costs so that our products remain accessible
  • Integrate vertically, from farm to fork

« Tree crops are a perfect response to the dual challenge we face: feeding the planet while mitigating climate change. In an economic world constrained by our planetary boundaries, I’m convinced that the unicorns of tomorrow, the so-called « sufficient » unicorns, will be regenerative companies.
These companies embody the notion of « finite resources » in their very DNA, turning it into an opportunity to create value – for the company, for its stakeholders and for society as a whole. »

Boris Spassky

“We are convinced that the success of our agricultural model will also depend on the upstream-downstream integration of our value chain, in particular through the construction of high-performance industrial facilities to process our raw materials. GreenPods’ strategy is to sell directly to the consumer, to prove that agricultural production can be an ecological, traceable and profitable activity from farm to fork. »

GreenPods, future heavyweight in regenerative agriculture?

“GreenPods, a future heavyweight in regenerative agriculture?”

« GreenPods has got bold ambitions. Within two to three years, it aims to operate 2,000 hectares between France and Spain under regenerative agriculture methods – i.e. 600,000 to 700,000 productive trees planted. The company is already eyeing a 500 hectare farm located on the southern side of the Pyrenees. “The objective is to reach a certain critical mass to engage directly with retailers and distributors, without having to go through any intermediary, according to Boris Spassky. We want to sell traceable products, from farm to fork.”. »

Our ambition

Our ambition is to contribute to the objective of 25% of European agricultural area to be farmed organically by 2030,

We are developing our projects in Europe, around the Pyrenees, between France and Spain.

// Europe has favourable climatic conditions for nut production – we can and must produce at home
The demand is rising in Europe for plant-based diets
// The demand is rising in Europe for plant-based diets
// « Farm to Fork » vision: build and operate our own processing plant by 2026
sustainable, traceable and carbon neutral products

Several projects across Europe

un triangle dont tous les côtés sont égaux

  • 2,000Ha committed to regenerative production in the next 24 months
  • « Farm to Fork » vision: build and operate our own processing plant by 2026
  • Achieve and measure our environmental goals:
    • Plant 600,000 trees
    • Sequester over 200,000+TCO2eq
    • Convert 1,000+Ha of degraded land into organic orchards
    • Set aside biodiversity & conservation areas
    • Create local jobs in rural areas

La Esperanza (by GreenPods) is an orchard in organic conversion located in Maella
in Aragon, in the Ebro basin. Today the farm has 30Ha of almond trees
planted (varieties: Guara, Lauranne) on the border with Catalonia.
Eventually we plan to cultivate 50Ha of almond trees and 55Ha of olive trees.
La Esperanza is the rear base of our development in Spain.
